The Simple Church FELLOWSHIP HELPS ADVANCE THE GOSPEL IN CUBA! The Simple Church Fellowship has offered our assistance to Reverend Tony Loeffler who is a Good Brother In The Lord Jesus and The Solid Rock Evangelistic Association on whose Board I served in the past. SREA is reaching the Island of Cuba which is just some seventy miles or so off the Florida coast here in the USA with the Love of God and the Good News of Jesus! In a country where the average worker makes just $8.50 a month, it is more than safe to say that the needs are great, but we serve a Great God and He Is Able to do above and beyond All that we could ask or think. Please, as you look over the information provided on this Page, pray about the projects set before you and the challenges that these Pastors, Churches and people face each and every day. You as an individual Member of the Body of Christ Jesus can help by doing your part and getting your Church or Organization behind this Work of God Today! If you know people from Cuba or a ministry who would like to take part in this effort to reach this Island with the Gospel then encourage them to join our Simple Church Fellowship Group at:

Prayer Partners,
In 2002 Tony ministered in India at a conference for pastors who face persecution. He met Brother TR from Nepal. TR has emailed that he and others in this area of the world are facing increased persecution and that ministry for Christ is getting more and more difficult. Please pray for the Body of Christ in Nepal, and that God's kingdom would be advanced there through God's power.

To follow are 2 items from Tony...

In Him,

GOOD SHEPHERD MISSION

Today I stopped by the Good Shepherd Mission to drop off some donations. It was good to visit some old friends there.

The work is doing well and the needs for more space are continuing to increase there. I told Derrick, one of the leaders that we would put a prayer request out for them on the internet and seek the Lord with them for the resources necessary to meet the demand they are facing to help the broken in spirit. This street mission has been going for 23 years and has been a real life line for many suffering people. They house 35 people at the moment and the ages are getting lower and lower of the folks who come to them for help. It is sad to see such young people so destitute. Thanks for your prayers. TL

PS: I have ministered many times at this mission and
have only good things to say about the work there. GREAT MINISTRY!

PFI INTERNATIONAL CONVOCATION 2003 - CANADA

In August 2003, the 7th International Convocation of Prison Fellowship International (PFI) took place in the beautiful city of Toronto, Canada.
Tony, along with Karen Sibilia, and her
husband Stephen, board member for Solid Rock Evangelistic Association, attended the conference from August 3rd through August 9th.
Besides being invited to participate as a workshop speaker, Tony and Karen were asked to share some music with the 800 attendees, who represented over 100 nations. What a thrill it was to hear them singing "How Great Thou Art" in unison.
The workshop, which Tony taught on two
separate days, discussed the importance and effectiveness of utilizing music in the approach to reaching the incarcerated.

He stressed the delivering power of God's hand when people unite in praise and worship and believe in God to do the impossible.
He cited the beautiful story of Jehosephat, who, when faced with the possibility of annihilation because of war, gathered the people together to fast and pray. It was then that God told him to place the singers and musician out in front. That's when God caused the enemies of His people to destroy themselves. When the people fasted, prayed and worshipped the Lord, it strengthened their hearts to believe the delivering power of the Almighty God.
The convocation, which featured many keynote speakers, among them, Chuck Colson, PFI's founder. It was a time for renewing friendships and for meeting new people united in one cause; to bring the Gospel of Salvation to a dying world, lost behind bars.
Thanks to all of you who prayed for traveling mercies and for the meetings themselves. We trust that God will bless you for your faithfulness.
In your private prayer time, remember to pray for Prison Fellowship and all of the prison workers.
Solid Rock continues to receive between 200 and 300 requests monthly from inmates seeking to grow in the Lord. Continue to pray for these men and women as life can be quite difficult behind bars.
Also pray for the effectiveness of the new Cross Roads Bible Institute Program which we started recently. You may also want to consider being involved in this valuable ministry that brings with it eternal reward.   Their phone number is 616.530.1300.

Subject:    Praise Report for the European tour

Please tell the prayer team that we had marvellous fruit on this trip and we are very thankful for that prayer covering. I met many people who remembered us from previous trips and they shared details of how the Lord used us to bless their lives. I can't go into all the details but two incidents worth mentioning are a man who came to one of our concerts in 1995 who was a secular musician shared how that evening touched his life and had a major effect on him the week after we left. He is now a worship leader in a church and doing a great job. The other event is a woman who was tormented by demons from her involvement with witchcraft. She came up to me after a concert and asked if I remembered her. I said of course I do _______, how have you been? She then went on to explain to me what the Lord now has her doing in the church she attends. She was filled with the presence of the Lord and it shined on her face. One other event worth sharing is a man who came up to me after another concert and asked about doing a faith based album; he wanted to know how to do, etc. etc..   To make a very long story short, I asked him if he knew the Lord as His Saviour. He said, no, and I replied, "Would you like to know Him and receive Him as your Lord and Saviour. He said, yes! I was flabbergasted. Chris Shaw and I took him to the prayer tent and spent some time with him bringing him to the presence of the Lord. After he prayed a wonderful prayer of faith, I said, "You now have what you need to make a Faith Based album."

Please pray for me and the many others who received the Lord. The teachings I presented and the concerts were blessed with the presence of the Lord. I give Him the honour and praise for all those He touched. It was nothing short of miraculous. We also received a keyboard, guitar and PA speakers for Cuba. Two radio IV's took place which will air in the next 8 weeks. Pray the Lord really uses them to touch lives.
They were really anointed. Linda also did a radio IV which was quite remarkable. I know it will really touch hearts as it was a deeply personal IV that many folks will relate to as they listen to the power of God in a person's life. There was also a newspaper article that spoke very well of the work we are doing in CUBA. Pray for good results from that as they put the web site in the article.

Incidentally, our web server has been down for over a week. We need prayer for that as well.

For now take care.We leave for USA in about 6 hours. I then leave for Florida the next day to attend a funeral of a very important friend of mine. I will be singing at the funeral. Pray for the peace of God that passes all understanding to fill this family. The had another recent and sudden loss within the past year. tL

PS: Please pray for Chris and Shelia Shaw who were
our wonderful hosts. It is always hard to depart after spending a week with each other. We had a marvellous time talking about the things of the Lord all week. The work Chris is doing in Dartmoor is so important and Shelia works in a mental rehab and has such love for those folks who suffer so much. Thanks!

Dear Prayer Partners,
Below are several prayer points, and also, a news story of the passing of Compay Segundo, a 95-year-old Cuban musician who Tony was able to meet on one of his trips in the last year!

Thanks for your prayers and encouragement for Tony as he travels.

God is blessing his music and outreach.

Blessings,
Cheryl Freeman
Prayer Coordinator for SREA

From Tony....

I can't believe all the e-mail response we received because one of our team members decided to leave the trip--what encouragement!

The Lord has graciously provided 5 musicians over 3 nights and what a blessing. Each night we had a slightly different sound and I am really enjoying the experience. What a wonderful experience to enjoy such different styles.

The ministry has been very powerful thus far. WE give God the Glory. Praise the Lord...I am so blessed for His promises are reliable.

Also, the Lord has poured on me a very special anointing. Praise the Lord and thank you for your prayers. TL

.....................................

We had a great two days of ministry in the college and school yesterday and today. Those prayers are making a difference and we are being quite blessed on this trip--more than we could have possibly expected. In Dartmoor prison we are expecting GREAT favor from the Lord and then Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be the Crossrhythms Festival. It is marvelous to see how the Lord has given us a great group of musicians to work with on those outreaches. Praise The Lord! Keep those prayers coming.

---------- Forwarded message ----------

Spoke to my son very briefly about Cuba.
Our timing on being there was amazing as the people are all starving. Anthony said he has never seen it so bad. Can't imagine! Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Cuba and for the presentations I will be doing in the UK about the work we are doing there. Prayer is needed as things are VERY, VERY Difficult in Cuba.

CARIBBEAN BASIN. Pray for the preparations that are underway for sports outreach in this region. Recently, government officials are indicating that these events will not be permitted to take place. Believing that our God has initiated this outreach opportunity and that He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world, pray that we would continue with eyes of faith and not be distracted by the circumstances in sight.

Pray that God would give us favor in the eyes of the governmental authorities. As we stand at the edge of the ³Red Sea² with Pharaoh¹s chariots at our backs, pray that He would make a way that is unmistakably His way.

Update prayer request from Tony........

One of our team has decided to return to the USA. There is no reasonable explanation for this other than a spiritual attack on what the Lord had planned for this person. I believe that the Lord will more than meet our needs to complete the job as we are just getting into the schedule. We have much that is ahead.
The Lord did encourage me in spite of this which has put a bit of stress on me.

Thanks for praying and we will see how the Lord uses us from this point onward.........I am encouraged! God

Here is a recent update on praises and prayer requests from Tony Loeffler. I also included an interesting article keeping in mind that Tony's finger is in a splint now!

PRAISE AND PRAYER

I just received my new PSA results and my PSA has dropped to 9.1--a very big jump in the right direction. I only can praise the Lord. Also my % of FREE PSA is up to 10, which is also moving in the right direction. Thank you all for praying about my health; I do believe this is an answer to prayer and have always felt this was spiritual harassment because of the timing of these bad news events.

They always come just before a tour or ministry trip. This is the first time the news has been in a very positive direction just before I head out on an important trip.
(PS: my next PSA check end of July.)

PRAY FOR THIS MEETING

I will be leaving Tuesday morning a 4:30AM for the Global Fellowship Conference in Louisville, Mississippi.

Many churches are waiting to hear about the work in Cuba and Anthony, Jr. and I will be meeting with some key people within the Global Fellowship. Pray that the Lord leads us to speak with the right people and to represent His Kingdom in a proper manner. We don't ever want to be opportunists but available for what the Lord would have us do and with whom.

For this we need to be lead by the Holy Spirit. It will be a four day conference.

Please remember to keep this in prayer.

Thanks so much. TL

Don't Hold On Too Tightly!

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
                              -Matthew 6:19-21

It has been a very challenging year; challenging yet full of God's great blessing. The Holy Spirit whispers to me in His still and quiet voice, "Don't hold on too tightly!" as if to remind me that I'm just passing through and what little time I have here must count for Christ!

The Lord is gradually prying my fingers (one by one) from the things I have held tightly in my grip--things like my business, my money, and maybe even our home in NJ. Through past experiences I have learned that in letting go, He sometimes chooses to replace what we have lost. For instance, on a recent trip to Cuba the Lord pried my fingers from my new handmade Martin Guitar, to which I was very attached. My friend, Wayne Scott Farley (ministry volunteer) confirmed my decision to let go. He said, "The Lord will give you a better one!" He was right! A few months later a friend offered me a Martin, two levels above the one I had, for $400. I was wondering how I was going to pay for it, and told him it might take a while to come up with the money. A few weeks later he called and said the Lord wanted me to have the guitar, and gave it to me freely.
The past has also taught me that the Lord sometimes encourages us to let go because He wants to change our path and take us in another direction. The Lord tapped me on the shoulder, pried another finger off of my business, and kept convicting me that full-time evangelism is where He would have me.

It was the hardest, yet the easiest decision I've ever made.
The work in Cuba has brought such great
blessing and fulfillment to my life, and I am so thankful that God has allowed me to serve such warm, loving people. They are so thankful for everything Solid Rock has done for them. The humanitarian aid, the financial aid, the Spanish Bibles, the friendship we have given is just the start.
The Cuban church has had their fingers pried from almost everything, and yet many remain faithful to God in spite of losing so much. It is our responsibility as fellow believers to assist and encourage the poor.

We need individuals, churches, Sunday school classes, Christian businesses to partner with us in what the Lord commissioned us to do. Will you give it some thought and prayerfully consider helping?

Subject:    Thanks for the offer for help.

Thanks Mark,

I really do appreciate this as we have just begun our profiling of the pastors and various needs in Cuba.  We have 37 churches that we are working with and have thus far completed 6 of the profiles and compiled some photos of the needs  that exist.  The needs in Cuba are off the scale........but these will give you some idea of what we are doing.  In Cuba everything is done in cash because of the embargo........I usually bring in about $10,000 to $20,000 as the Lord provides.  We are tithing to 37 pastor / missionary churches a small amount as our personal needs have yet to be met since I left all behind in March 2002.  It appears that the Lord may be leading us to sell our home in NJ as it is very expensive and getting hard to keep up with expenses.  We are looking into moving to Florida where we can reduce our monthly expense.  In addition to tithing to the 37 churches, we also tithe to the Bishop and to two coordinators.  Attached is a list of some of the current needs and we haven't yet been to the poor end of the island.  I expect to get there next trip in.......I was supposed to go the 15th of April.......but, finances have not been available, so I am now scheduling for the 14th of May and need about $15,000 to make that trip successful.......of course, if we can get help with the needs attached, we need about $55,000 more.  I will have my son keep you up to date on some of the specific needs as he is the one responsible for this part of the work in Cuba.

God bless!
tL

PS:  I also work with some key people in India who need financial assistance but can only do very little.  I have been writing to and have visited these pastors last year.  One Asst. pastor I have been writing to for over 6 years.  He is a good, honest man and trustworthy.  Attached are some of the projects we need help with ASAP in Cuba.

Here are some prayer and project needs for Cuba.  These requests only represent six of the 37 churches we are working with in Cuba.  We haven't been to the worst section yet.   Our goal is to find 37 USA churches to sister church those in Cuba. The link to click to see the photos that go with these requests is listed here:

"Monthly Supporters Needed!"

We are extremely grateful for your support. May God richly bless you in return for your faithfulness to this ministry. Due to continued growth and ministry opportunities of Solid Rock for evangelism and extended work in Cuba, there continues to be a need for assistance on a monthly basis. Through your monthly support we are able to more effectively plan for mission projects.

All financial support for our outreaches to prisons, shelters, drug rehabs, Cuba and wherever else God leads is much appreciated. We rely on Christian brothers, sisters, churches, and business people who share the vision of the Solid Rock Evangelistic Association.

Would you prayerfully consider being a monthly supporter? All gifts are tax deductible.

PLEASE PRAY FOR SOLID ROCK'S PROJECT CUBA

There are many prayer requests concerning the churches, pastors, and families in Cuba. Click on the link above or below to find out more details.  Perhaps you can share with your church, pastor, prayer group or your Sunday School Class these areas of need.  Tony, Sr. and Tony, Jr. are available to give detailed presentations of Cuba at your church. Call 1-800-796-0778 to make arrangements.

PROJECT 1: Pray for finances to replace a badly damaged drum set currently being used by a Worship Team in a small poor town of La Lisa, Cuba where the neighborhood is infested with drugs and witchcraft. Many are coming to the Lord.

One of the drum covers has been replaced with a piece of plastic and the base drum is broken. We would like to bless the Cuban Church by giving them a new drum set. Cost:  $350.00

http://www.thesolidrock.org      Once on the page CLICK:  Cuba Projects.

PROJECT 2: Pray for the distribution of two Cuban / Spanish Music Projects by "Aliosha" and "Maranatha" which are complete and ready to be given freely to church pastors and Christians throughout the island of Cuba. There is little to no worship music available in the country and people only make $8.50 per month on the average, so we need help to freely give this gift to our brothers and sisters in Christ to enjoy in their villages.
Additional finances are needed for distribution. We will also gladly make this music available to anyone else for a "love offering" of any amount which will be used to help the church in Cuba. See mailing instructions below or send us an e-mail. $100 allows us to give 25 CDs for free.

http://www.thesolidrock.org      Once on the page CLICK:  Cuba Projects.

PROJECT 3: Pray for finances for a pastor and his wife who are living in horrible conditions. Their housing is absolutely horrific. He and his wife have been faithful to their congregation. We would like to build them something more suitable to live in as they continue to minister to their congregation. $1,500 - $2,000 will help improve this pastor's living conditions.

http://www.thesolidrock.org      Once on the page CLICK:  Cuba Projects.

PROJECT 4: Pray for the necessary finances to Replace termite / water damaged church pews. A small church in the town of Caimito has been collecting donations for replacing these pews for 2 years and has managed to collect $158.00. This is the equivalent of one year and seven months pay. The total cost to replace these pews is $1,200.00.  All of our pastor conferences are held in this church; generally 120 pastors.

http://www.thesolidrock.org      Once on the page CLICK:  Cuba Projects.

PROJECT 5: Pray for the finances necessary to add badly needed seats and rear window for ventilation in Bishop Wilfredo's church van. Lord willing, this van will go to the other end of the island when we can get the Mini Bus (see Project 11). This vehicle has a zillion miles on it, but our Cuban brothers manage to keep it running. We have been in 120o temperatures in this van and it is very exhausting when trying to minister.

This is currently the only vehicle for 37 pastor / missionaries. Cost:  $400.00

http://www.thesolidrock.org      Once on the page CLICK:  Cuba Projects.

PROJECT 6: Pray for this amazing church construction opportunity. Pastor Jose Mesa's church has also bursting at the seams. There is nowhere to put the people. The government has offered him a huge building (one of the largest buildings I have seen offered for a church) a few blocks from where he is currently located. The problem is, only the walls are standing. This will make a wonderful house of worship. Cost:  $5,000 - $10,000 seed money will start this project.

http://www.thesolidrock.org      Once on the page CLICK:  Cuba Projects.

PROJECT 7: Pray for the necessary finances to help build a second floor for a new office for Bishop Wilfredo who oversees all the 37 pastor / missionary churches we work with in Cuba. His office has been in his house for many, many years and the space is badly needed for all the main functions are held in this church. Some of this space will be used to house some of the pastors when conferences take place. At the moment they sleep on the floor. Cost:  $3,084.00

http://www.thesolidrock.org      Once on the page CLICK:  Cuba Projects.

PROJECT 8: Pray for the finances to help build a small Office / Library for Pastor Luis N. Coto Rodriguez. His church is currently a home-church and they are literally cramped for space. The church is growing and Pastor Luis needs this office for his work and a library for his congregation. Cost: $800.00

http://www.thesolidrock.org      Once on the page CLICK:  Cuba Projects.

PROJECT 9: Pray for this badly needed second floor addition to Felipe Barbon's Home-Church. Currently there are 12 people in the family and 4 homeless people living in approximately 500 square feet. Don't ask me how they manage, but they do. The church is rapidly growing in a drug / witchcraft infested neighborhood. Aliosha is the Worship Leader and is the daughter of Felipe. She has a real anointing on her singing. They have been praying for more space for their church. The only way this is possible is to add a second floor. NOTE:  On my last trip to Cuba, seventeen witchcraft people died in 12 days and some others came to the Lord while I was in town. This is a praying church and the Lord is really blessing. They always ask me, "Please don't come here alone in a taxi cab". I wish everyone could see what the Lord is doing in this community. The enemy is destroying each other, just like they did in Jehosaphat's day. (2 Chron. 20:1-31) Cost: $3,500 - $4,000

http://www.thesolidrock.org      Once on the page CLICK: Cuba Projects.

PROJECT 10: Please pray for Pastor Jorge Enrrique Lambert's congregation in the town of Cotorro. Finances are needed to help complete a partially built new chapel. The congregation used to meet in his home and he knocked his home down to build a new church for his congregation. The sacrifices these pastors make never cease to amaze me!  Currently he lives in a cubby hole. It has been this way for two years now as resources are very limited. What sacrifices these pastors are making for their congregations! Pray for the finances to complete the building and furnish some needed audio equipment.

Cost: $8,869

http://www.thesolidrock.org      Once on the page CLICK:  Cuba Projects.

PROJECT 11: Pray for the resources to purchase a used air conditioned mini-bus which is needed for our transportation when we are in the country and for the ministry of the Church of God. I can't tell you how exhausting it gets for us Americans when we are there to minister.  It has been so hot lately that many of the locals even struggle with the heat. There is currently only one vehicle available for the 37 pastors / missionaries we serve.  Getting this vehicle will allow us to have a more effective ministry in Cuba and will really meet a need for transportation for our brothers and sisters. The ministry can then give the van to the eastern end of Cuba where there is no transportation.

Cost: $14,000

Without prayer there is nothing valuable that takes place in a ministry! Therefore, I beseech you in the name of Jesus Christ to pray for the Body of Christ in Cuba.  We are simply a vessel the Lord is using at this time to bring encouragement and hope to the island of Cuba. Your prayers and giving if you are able, will make a huge difference in the Kingdom of God.  Workers, volunteers, pastors, teachers, youth workers and professionals are all needed in Cuba through this outreach.  The first thing we need to put in place is some of the finances so that we can get the materials that are needed. We are looking for thirty seven churches to sister 37 churches in Cuba. If your church is interested, we will be happy to make a more formal Audio/Video presentation upon request. Call 1-(800)-796-0778 to make arrangements.  God bless you and thank you for praying for this ministry.

Subject: Donkeys' project

From:    Tony Loeffler

From: "Martha Loeffler"

Date: Tue, 15 Apr 2003

Cheryl,

There are some remote areas in Cuba that we are working that even a bike won't work.  What the pastors need are donkeys.  Below is the information I just received from my daughter in law.  Thanks for posting it as an important prayer item.

This is a translation of the letter I received from Cuba:

Project to buy the Donkeys

Timildo Loyola             El Name de Imaias
Eddy Romero               El Jobo de Imaias
Arnoldo Jimenez         Arroyo Jojo Imaias
Migdalia Diaz               El Cuero Imaias

The price of each donkey is $200 US
The total needed for the project is $800 US

There are mountains of the province of Guantanamo, places inaccessible and without electricity.  The only transportation possible is with donkeys.

We wish that this project would be put up in the list of prayer requests, and we'll wait on God to touch some hearts to make this possible.

Mark,  I have changed our records to the new info you sent.  Is this your new home?  By the way, have you been able to help any of those Indian pastors yet.  I still get quite a bit of requests.  Should I still forward them to you.  Also, we just launched off two of three of our new Spanish CD's.  You can see them on our web site

http://www.thesolidrock.org

I have been on the road for 10 weeks so been out of touch.  Trust all is well.  TL

PS:  We can use some help with the Cuba work.  We have about 3,000 of stuff to get over there and need about $10,000 which will help cover the shipping, air travel for two people and some money for the pastors. (39 of them)

Subject: Acts 8:12-16

The Word:

But when they believed the good news (the Gospel) about the kingdom of
God and the name of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, as Philip preached it,
they were baptized, both men and women.

Even Simon himself believed - that is,] he adhered to, trusted in and
relied on the teaching of Philip - and after being baptized devoted
himself constantly to him. And seeing signs and miracles of great power
which were being performed, he was utterly amazed.

Now when the apostles (special messengers) at Jerusalem heard that [the
country of] Samaria had accepted and welcomed the Word of God, they sent
Peter and John to them,
And they came down and prayed for them that the Samaritans might receive
the Holy Spirit;
For he had not yet fallen upon any of them, but they had only been
baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
- Acts 8:12-16

O the Mysteries of God! How have we come so far, learned and experienced
so little? The echoes of, "Repent! For the Kingdom of God Is At Hand!"

Is the Spiritual World, so real that we can actually reach out and touch
it? Taste and See that The Lord Is Good!

Are we going from The Kingdom
of God being among us, to upon us, to within us? It's not an easy road
or task to be poured from vessel to vessel, moved from Glory to Glory,
Grace to Grace and Image to Image until we Come Into The Perfect Man In
Christ Jesus. After The Resurrection, Jesus appeared to His Disciples in
The Upper Room (Each and Every One of us are Called of God to Be
Disciples of Christ), He Breathed on them and said, "Receive The Holy
Spirit" and some 33 days later He told them to wait for The Power of God
to Fall Upon them, so that they could be Witnesses For Him to All
Nations and Peoples!

If you are a Christian, then you are to "Be" Walking In Love (God Is
Love) and Love Believes All Things. Love Conquers All! Do you Believe
The Good News?

Someone once said, "The World has yet to see the man who has totally
submitted his Life to Christ." Certainly there have been Great Men and
Women of Faith, but there are some even Today (in All their foolishness)
who wonder if Billy Graham is Saved.

COME ON! Are you or any one else
you know doing anything near or close to what he has attained in his
Lifetime of Service to Christ?

Some of us (I should say, All of us) need a Good swift kick in the
Spiritual buttocks sometimes. Let's WAKE-UP!

How much of The Good News (The Gospel) do you Know (experientially),
read about, write about or best of All, Tell others about? Not only in
words, but in actions and deeds? The Kingdom of God Is Righteousness,
Peace (Shalom) and Joy In The Holy Ghost! Jesus Is The Name Above All
Names and there Is No other Name under Heaven by which We MUST Be Saved!

He Is The Rabbi, Messiah, Son and King of Kings! As Philip Preached It,
they Believed and were baptized, both Men and Women.

HELLO! I Am So Sick and Tired of this "men can do this and women can (or
can't) do that" sort of stuff going on in The (so called) Church Today.

We "Are" One In Him! ONE! Meaning The Same, Equal In Jesus. Now I know
that there will be those reading this who will want to twist and turn
these words of mine.

What I Am really trying to say here is, "We All Are Members Of His Body
and whether you are male or female, find your Place In Him as The Bride
of Christ and Be Faithful to what He has Called you to." As Nike would
put it, "Just Do It!"

As we truly adhere to, trust in and rely on Jesus, The Living Word of
God, sit underneath those who are Anointed to properly Teach The Written
Word of God, are Baptized (dipped) Into Our Father Who Art In Heaven,
His One And Only Begotten Son and The Person Of The Holy Spirit,
submitting our"self" and constantly devoting our"self" to God, we Will
See and Experience Signs and Miracles of Great Power Being Performed In
and Through Our Life In Jesus' Name!

Our God Is Utterly Amazing, so why are we not utterly amazed by Him and
utterly amazing the World around us in which we live? Have you really,
truly accepted and welcomed The Word Of God into your Life? Do you
openly and honestly Believe?

I find it strange (and somewhat funny) how verse fourteen in this
portion of Holy Scripture tells us the apostles (special messengers) at
Jerusalem sent Peter and John to Samaria. Go ahead and just think about
that. History tells us that James, Jesus' Half Brother headed up the
Council of Believers in Jerusalem. Peter didn't lash out and say, "Hey,
Wait One Minute! I Am The Rock, so who are you to tell me where and when
to roll?" John the Beloved, certainly knew the Heartbeat of God better
than any one, for it was he who rested his head upon Jesus' Chest at The
Passover Feast, The Last Supper, the night of their Holy Communion. My
point here is this, without any reservations (and I don't mean for their
journey to Samaria), they both submitted to The Authority of The Holy
Spirit's Leading and Guiding them. Not to mention their Obedience to
Jesus' Great Commission Unto Them (and us), "Go to Jerusalem, Samaria
and the uttermost parts of the World with The Good News, Baptizing
People In (or Into) The Name of The Father, Son and Holy Spirit." Are
you moving In The Spirit? Is He Living, Moving and Having His Being In
you?

Peter and John came down to Samaria (anywhere you go in the World from
Jerusalem is considered "down" from a Jewish mindset), so that others
could Receive what they Already had.

Love (Real Love) isn't "Real" Love
until you Give It aWay. Surely you know of someone who has heard of
Jesus and who in their own mind Believe He Is Who He Says He Is, but
have never Experienced His Fullness, Wholeness and Blessings In their
Life. There are hundreds of thousands (millions even) of People around
the World Today who have never ever heard of Him and they will go to
their Eternal death apart from Him if we do not pray for them and go to
them with The Love of God and The Good News of Jesus. Fall down on your
knees and ask God to have His Holy Spirit fall upon the lost, sick and
dying. He Is their only Hope! Maybe Jesus wants you to go, to be His
Hands, His Feet and His Voice?

Ask Him, He'll tell you, lead you and guide you Into His Truth according
to His Word, Will and Way for your Life In Jesus' Name.

God bless and Love to All,
<')))>< Your Brother and Friend In Him, Mark

GREAT NEWS FROM THE LOEFFLER FAMILY!!!

Hey guys!

My daughter-in-law just gave birth to a son, Anthony
A. Loeffler, the third. He is 8 pounds, 3 ounces and both are doing well. Martha had a few rough days of labor and they had to do a "C" section but everything is OK. Praise the Lord.   Anthony sounded good and relieved now that his precious wife is out of pain. It was a rough time for the last 4 days or so. He will join our ministry team I'm sure. SMILE! A happy grand dad. TL

FROM ANTHONY, JR.

......

Well, Anthony the 3rd finally arrived!

Praise God for this precious child! Also praise the Lord for protecting this little guy! Martha is doing great, but she had many difficulties with delivery. She eventually needed to have a "C" section, because the baby wasn't really doing well during labor... Whenever Martha would have strong contractions Anthony's heart rate would drop significantly, and on top of that when he was delivered his umbilical cord was tied into a complete knot! The doctor said that if they were to have continued with trying regular labor and delivery they would have ran into a serious problem. Well, I'm off to the hospital again to see my wife and baby :)

Thanks guys for all your prayer and support! You guys truly are great friends!
We love you!

Tony, Martha, & Anthony III

P.S. Martha will be in recovery for a few more days (both her and the baby are doing GREAT!). She is staying in St. Mary's hospital

Second, is a link to see pictures of Anthony and Martha's baby. Praise God for this healthy little guy after such a tough delivery!

..........................

I just received a phone call that my cousin was found deceased in his room in NY. Apparently, he had a heart attack.

He is only 46 years old and this has come as shocking news to my elderly uncle. He is taking it fairly hard as might be expected as well as my other cousin, brother to my deceased cousin. Pray that the God of all comfort brings His healing touch in the middle of the sudden death.

Thank you for praying. TL

Here are some requests that Tony has sent:

1)We were able to get two pastors out of Cuba after an
eleven-month wait. They are with me and we will be traveling some 1,500 miles to churches in NC and FL that have expressed an interest in helping the Cuban persecuted church. Please pray that our time is well spent and that some new relationships can be developed

THANK YOU FOR THE PRAYER SUPPORT....THE TRIP WAS EXTREMELY BLESSED....SOME EXCELLENT NEW RELATIONSHIPS WHICH WE ARE ALREADY PLANNING TRIPS TO CUBA..FINANCIAL BLESSINGS FOR THE TWO PASTORS.....EXCEEDING THEIR EXPECTATIONS........THE ONLY WAY TO DESCRIBE THE RESULTS ARE, BLESSED, BLESSED, BLESSED.

2) Now please pray for me and Mary Ann as we travel 1,300 miles back to NJ. We will be leaving Tuesday 5:30AM.

3) Also, pray for the needed finances for my trips to Cuba on Oct 15th for a Pastor's Seminar for 50 pastors and a first trip in for another church ready to sponsor a church in Cuba. The Lord is really blessing our "Sister Church Sponsorship" program. Now all we need to get help with is our operating budget. Pray for a financial miracle. Thanks! tL

...........................................

4)I am still believing the Lord will have me involved in the prisons in Cuba. Pray for the inmates there.

FROM CUBA

Prison inmates in Cuba decry conditions

HAVANA, September 24

(www.cubanet.org) - "Only the absence of fire keeps us from thinking we are in Hell," reads a message from a prisoner at the Valle Grande prison in Havana. Seven prisoners, Alexis Quintero, William Terrero, Oneris Rodríguez, Yarian León, Yordanis Amaya, Rancel Caballero, and Jorge Luis Osorio, have been sleeping on the floor in ward 8 for more than four months now. 36 additional inmates bunk on straw mattresses placed on the floor.

Osorio said in the message: "The enclosure has become a cemetery of live men. We are deprived of all rights."

Another part of the message points out that "the food is scant and very poorly made; we don't have access to medical attention. At present we are suffering from hemorrhagic conjunctivitis and we don't have water to wash." The inmates closed the message expressing appreciation for the pencils inscribed with thoughts by José Martí sent in by the Group in Support of Democracy.

2 prayer points:

1--Pray for the release of Cuban Worship music 2--Youth in Cuba

..............................................
..............................................

CUBAN WORSHIP

It has been my privilege to produce with Latin Award Winner, Luis Frank Arias the CDs, "Gloria al Rey" and "Maranatha". I agreed to produce these projects with the understanding from the musicians, that all the proceeds generated would go directly to 39 pastors in Cuba (under the leadership of Bishop Wilfredo Garcia).
This assistance helps to encourage these suffering pastors as they attempt to help their starving congregations.
We are working with 39 pastors who distribute the humanitarian aid directly to the poor. The average income in Cuba is $8.50 USD per month and there is no opportunity whatsoever for free enterprise. Therefore, the suffering is enormous.
By releasing this Cuban Worship music to the public, we hope to reach thirty-nine Sister Churches to partner with the 39 churches in Cuba. For more information regarding our work in Cuba contact our Florida office.

Additional information can also be found on our website at:

www.thesolidrock.org.

You can also visit

www.bookworldmusic.com   You will see Maranatha's CD on their opening page.

Both CD's will be available in Barnes and Noble, Walmart, and many other major music outlets within the next 60 days.

Pray for a good harvest to bless Cuba.

...............................

YOUTH CAMP IN CUBA - 2003

In July, Marcos Del Aguila and I went to Cuba for the "Annual Youth Camp".

Things didn't go quite as planned concerning the arrangements, but everyone had a blast anyway! Last year, the church rented an old seminary for $400, and everyone stayed there for the whole week, but this year they couldn't afford it. Instead, they set up some events at two churches and one day at the beach.
I arrived in Cuba three days before the first camp event, and when I got there the first thing that Bishop Wilfredo did was make sure I ate. They cooked a meal for me, but when I found out that it was the last bit of food in the house, I had a hard time digesting it.

Wilfredo sat by the table as I ate, and he politely asked me if we could talk after I was done. I said, "Of course." Wilfredo brought me into a room privately after I ate, and explained that they were struggling pretty badly. They didn't have any money, or any food left. I felt like vomiting after I heard this, knowing that they just cooked some of their remaining food for me. Earlier in the year Wilfredo gave us some checks that he had been given as donation money. He asked if we could have them cashed for him, so we did. I had the money with me at this time, so I gave it to him immediately. I really didn't understand the extent of the word struggling until the next few days went by.
We had to go buy several things, some hot dogs so that the kids would have something to eat at camp; we also bought detergent, vegetables, four pads of paper and a few pens. After that we had to pay the driver of a large truck to drive the youth to and from the camp events. The worst yet was when I heard Caridad (Wilfredo's wife) crying; she was crying because they couldn't feed the elderly people in their town anymore.

They have a ministry where they cook and feed about 100 people in their village daily. Well, currently that ministry is on hold for two reasons, one is a lack of funds, and the other is because they need church pews or there will be nowhere for anyone to sit. Right now their current pews are falling apart and they are infested with termites. In spite of their struggles they continue on in their faith in an unbelievable way.
The second day I was there, we had a church service in the dark. The power goes off (sometimes for several hours) regularly at night in order to save petroleum. Each town is scheduled for black outs almost everyday. Well, one of these blackouts occurred right before a church service, but that didn't stop them from having church. Inside the church there was a person reading a Bible in the dark.
There was a very small candle giving a little bit of light, but I still couldn't see who was reading; I couldn't even find the seat. I was completely amazed at how nothing stopped them from worshipping God! The money didn't, the power didn't, the camp didn't, and nothing else is going to either! Praise God for their faithfulness!
As far as the actual camp events, Marcos Del Aguila joined me in Cuba right before these events started.

We had a great time! We got to see a lot of faces from last year, and we had a joyous time praising the Lord and fellowshipping with our brothers and sisters in Cuba. We also enjoyed playing some funny games. One of my favorite games was when you tie a string to your rear belt loop (the string is about a foot long), and you have a pen tied to the end.
Then you have to squat to get the pen through the head of a narrow bottle.

Marcos was able to preach and sing a few times, and I shared my testimony of what God is doing in my life. We finished the camp by having one day at the beach. It was originally suppose to be two, but they couldn't afford transportation for both days. The transportation is nothing fancy; it's a huge truck (kind of like a big dump truck with a roof). They all pile in and sit or stand crammed in like sardines for the ride.   Camp ended early, but we still had a wonderful time despite the problems.
It was very difficult to have the camp in different locations this year and work out the transportation for everyone (especially since they have one vehicle for 39 churches). Besides that, attendance was down as well (only 1/3 of the people showed up this year). None of the people from the east side of the island could come because they had nowhere to accommodate them (housing, transportation).
Well, things can be different for next year! If they have a $200 dollar deposit by December they can secure the old seminary location where everyone can stay for the week! If you feel led to donate for the camp of 2004 then please let us know.

We were able to get two pastors out of Cuba after an eleven-month wait. They are with me and we will be traveling some 1,500 miles to churches in NC and FL that have expressed an interest in helping the Cuban persecuted church.

Please pray that our time is well spent and that some new relationships can be developed.

We have shipped out 1,000 Cuban Worship CD's to radio this week. This effort is to help expose the ministry of Cuba to the Latin community so that many Spanish speaking Christians will come to help in Cuba. All those radio stations are Spanish speaking. Also, we are trying to create a demand for the music which will in turn help support the work financially.

Lastly, we are having another open house this week in an effort to sell our home.

Please keep this before the Lord as we know His timing is perfect.
  Thanks

PRAY FOR OUR MISSION

The Solid Rock Evangelistic Association is committed to world evangelism.
Using contemporary music, powerful testimony and evangelistic preaching, SREA founder

Tony Loeffler and ministry volunteers bring the message of God's love to shelters, missions, churches, prisons, rehab centers, and wherever else God leads in the United States and overseas.
Rev. Loeffler has made it his life's work to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the poor and downtrodden. He has reached the multitudes just to tell them, "God loves you!" and that there is victory in the shed blood of Jesus Christ!

..............................................

REMEMBER THE PRISONER!

"Remember the Prisoners" Hebrews 13:3

At any time of the year it is difficult to be incarcerated. For we have been created by God to be free, and He has furthermore paid an enormous price to guarantee our freedom. During the holiday season the isolation of prison confinement is amplified enormously.

(Heb 13:3)
We have been sharing an awful lot about our work in Cuba over the past year. The Lord has us very active in that country at this time and has given us a long-term vision for what we are doing there. It is important for you to know that our involvement in the prisons has been ongoing and will continue to be so.
Darlene Vieldhouse has been doing a marvelous job in handling all of the correspondence from the inmates requesting help from prisons throughout the United States. Her mailbox is constantly filled and I would ask that you pray for her. I've asked her to jot a few lines in this newsletter about the work going on and perhaps a few prayer requests. Although we've been fairly quiet about jails, there is so much to report.

Hi All!

Thank you for your prayers for Tony and Mary Ann's move to Florida. They had to delay their move by a day, thanks to the early snow storm. I work with their son-in-law and hear that the move was successful, and that Tony and Anthony, Jr. are in Cuba now!

Please keep them in prayer as they do their ministry work there, and for strength for Tony. That can be very tiring after a major move!

Subject:    Urgent Prayer Request

Dear Prayer Warriors,
Thank you so much for your prayers and faithfulness. Once again, the Loefflers need your prayers. Please continue to lift Tony and Mary Ann Loeffler's daughter, Amy, as she goes through the divorce trial. It has been a rough road, and unfair in how things are taking place.

*****I am sorry for the short notice, but I just found out that they are meeting in court again, tomorrow at 10am, January 20th.******

Please pray:

FOR GOD TO SHOW UP IN THE COURTROOM AND SHOW HIS WILL!

For continued strength and guidance for Amy. She has received messages from God that encourage her to trust in the Lord, and not to fear man.

This courtcase has been a real spiritual battle. Please pray against this!

This has been hard on the family, but they still trust the Lord.

Other Prayer Items:

--Some gifts have come in for Cuba; please continue to pray for a financial miracle

--Pray for the new album, Cuba Para Cristo

****PLEASE PRAY TODAY!**** And over the next three weeks as the Loefflers go through this tough situation.

--On the 13th, Tony and Mary Ann will be back in NJ for
3 weeks. Please lift this time in prayer as they will be here for 3 weeks to help their daughter, Amy, who is going through divorce proceedings. Please pray for God's peace and wisdom during this tough time. Pray for justice and mercy for Amy. That is the only request I have. This has been very unfair to watch.

PS: A special prayer request I have for Cuba is that
the Lord would provide the finances for me to do a nine concert tour throughout the island. I have been given an open opportunity. The only hold up is financial.
Cost would be between 18,000 and 20,000 to bring the group over for 2 weeks.

Subject: Answers to your questions.

Hello Landon,
My name is Rev. Tony Loeffler, presidnet and co-founder of the Solid Rock Ministry. I will answer your questions below and encourage you to go to our web site to understand better what we are doing in Cuba. Our we site is located at: http://www.thesolidrock.org

Hi this is landon from Lakeland Christian School I am supposed to do a school project on Cuba. I am age 11 and I need "Brother" Mark you to answer a few Q's for me

1. Please describe the work you are doing in Cuba.

We are doing Evangelistic Programs, conducting Pastor Conferences (60 to 120 Pastors attend for 3 days where we feed, house and transport them from various locations in Cuba). We do house visitation to new believers, deliver medicines, vitamins, clothing, bibles and musical equipment to help the churches.

We conduct doctor/medical clinics, do reconstruction projects for churches, help 39 Pastors and leaders financially.

Assist in training pastors for prison ministry and produce Christian music to be distributed freely throughout the country to encourage the Body of Christ.

2. How is the mission doing?

The work is going excellent and we are having great results in getting churches involved in Cuba. Our ³Sister Church Program² is having a good impact on Cuba. We match up churches in the USA with churches in Cuba.

3. How can I pray for you and the Cuban people?

I am in the process of setting up a meeting with Fidel Castro to discuss the possibility of doing an Evangelistic Musical Tour to reach out to the youth in Cuba. They have lost all hope in their country and are turning to drugs and sex.
They have no interest in school because they can only look forward to $8.50 per month or if they become a doctor, they can make $25 per month. Not very much to look forward to for young people.

Also, our ministry is in need of finances as we have been called to serve the poor and need alternate financial support to help carry on this work.

We have just released 3 musical projects, (2 from Cuba and one is my new CD).

Pray that the Lord blesses them greatly as this can help with our financial concerns.

Pray for more churches to get involved and also for our license from the United States to be renewed for the next two years.

Pray for the pastors as they are starving.

Pray for our safety We have two trip coming up in the next 6 weeks.

You can visit our web site for updates or get on our ministry mailing list. To receive our newsletter..........you need to e-mail us your address. Thank you for your concern and may the Lord richly bless you.

PS: If your church family would be interested.........I would be happy to
share our work with a Audio/Video presentation.   We are glad to receive a ³Love Offering² to help Cuba when we show the presentation and pray that the Lord would lead your church family to get involved in the work in Cuba.

My new blood PSA numbers are in from my last test.

They are as follows:

PSA: 7.3 (Down from last month and the lowest it has
been since 2001.)

FREE PSA: 19 (Up from last month also, which is good news--also the best reading since I started having problems.)

This is a result I am sure, of the Lord's people praying for me and the Lord's faithfulness. Praise the Lord!

Please continue to pray for the ministry finances as we are quite behind where we need to be at this time. We still have been unable to clear the deficit from last year.

This is putting a good amount of stress on us at the moment. I know the Lord has called us and will meet the need. Pray for us to be patient. It is a little like standing before the red sea. Thanks.

PRAISE FOR OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE

By the way, I had a great opportunity to minister this past week and will be sharing with a Sunday School class at our home church and a new church in Stuart, FL. Been invited to do some prison work as well and will shortly.

Remember, I leave for Cuba on the 17th of Feb. Adios! tL

UPDATE ON AMY--PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY!

The judge will be making his ruling any day now. I believe that he is going to be doing that over the weekend and that it will be sent to the attorneys on Feb 20th.

Just keep praying for the Lord's will to be accomplished. Because this judge has done everything possible to not follow the law, my daughter is prepared to appeal to another judge if he rules other than the law. Then, if the ruling is for her to stay, she will accept that as the Lord's will. But, the Lord has been encouraging her to keep moving forward with expectation. Thanks for those prayers. tL

Subject:    Mary had a little lamb

Mary had a little lamb

Mary had a little lamb,
His fleece was white as snow.

And everywhere that Mary went,
The Lamb was sure to go.

He followed her to school each day,
T'wasn't even in the rule.

It made the children laugh and play,
To have a Lamb at school.

And then the rules all changed one day,
Illegal it became;
To bring the Lamb of God to school,
Or even speak His Name!

Every day got worse and worse,
And days turned into years.

Instead of hearing children laugh,
We heard gun shots and tears.

What must we do to stop the crime,
That's in our schools today?

Let's let the Lamb come back to school,
And teach our kids to pray!

If you agree, please pass this on...!

=====================================

It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore I
have a very hard time understanding why there is such a mess about
having "In God We Trust" on our money and having God in the Pledge
of Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the 14% to shut up and sit
down???

If you agree, pass this on, if not, delete...

Subject:    Cuba update

from Tony in Cuba....

The trip went extremely well. When we first arrived at the hotel,
people
were coming up to us regularly asking for bibles, witnessing bracelets,
and
pamphlets. We visited a day care center that we have given some money
to
help in the past and were shown the new flooring that was put in for
the
children. Additional money was given by Rev. John Muniz and Evangelist
Richard Muniz to complete the other half.
We also delivered 150
witnessing
bracelets for the children and explained the Gospel Message to the
leaders
who are believers so that they can explain it to the children. We were
able
to deliver a musical keyboard and guitar to two churches to help with
their
music ministries. There are virtually NO musical instruments available
to
the church in Cuba. I bring them in and leave them each trip we make.

Our three day pastor's conference was very powerful. Great topics were
covered........one of the highlights was, "How to
prepare a
sermon".....it
was well received and many of the pastors presented their sermons and
outlines of the selected verses. All of our supplies got through like
a
breeze. We are moving forward with the Bible seminary interest and had
several meetings. Also, I have been given an open window to do a
pastor's
seminar exclusively for prison training.

This will be in April or
May.......most likely in May.

A very important development is that I have the opportunity to do an
evangelistic concert tour outside of the churches which is nothing
short of
a miracle. The date tentatively scheduled is August 15th to the 30th.

It
will be 6 to 9 concerts and we will reach close to 50,000 people. The
only
thing holding us back is the resources.

Obviously, an effort like this
must
be financed from outside of Cuba. The estimated resources needed for
travel, housing, food, PA rented equipment, air travel, etc., is about
$30,000. This is very important!   Please keep this
in prayer as we
need a
miracle to make it happen.

Also, on this trip we did some home visitation to encourage some
families, I
did a lot of personal counseling for four people which was badly
needed.

Please pray that the information I shared will be received and action
will
be taken to honor the Lord.

I met an inmate who had been just released from prison. He spent 18
there
and he had some serious wounds on his body which I cannot discuss. He
lost
the use of his hands and when we first meet, he was covering his hands
with
a long sweater. Evangelist Richard Muniz told him he did not have to
be
ashamed of his hands. He shed some tears and the next day returned in
a
short sleeve shirt. He came to know the Lord in Prison about one and a
half
years ago. Now he wants to serve the Lord in Helping prisoners. He is
in
one of our churches and is in good hands with an excellent pastor.

This
pastor has 12 people living is his home on top of each other. They
have
turned half of their home into a church.

We need about $22,000 to help
this
incredibly growing church. A second floor is needed for housing and
they
want to make the entire first floor the church. They have nowhere to
put
the people. I have been in this church many times. Please pray for
this as
I have the estimate which was prepared by an architect and the
construction
people are ready to go to work on this project as soon as we can raise
the
money. To explain all the dynamics of how this works in Cuba would
take
quite a bit of writing but if there is anyone interested in financing
this
work, I'd be happy to explain it in person.
Once again, another demon was cast out of a very violent woman. This
is not
my favorite job, as a matter of fact, I bluntly don't look forward to
it.

But, to witness the power of the blood of Jesus in these situations has
got
to be one of the most blessed experiences a Christian can have.

Demons
really tremble at the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They know
they
are no match when it comes to the shed blood of Jesus Christ. This
person
did not speak a word of English and yet the demon spoke to me in
English.

The Lord has shown me something very powerful here for I always felt a
bit
helpless because I do not speak Spanish very well yet. Keep this woman
in
prayer. When the demon departed it was with a loud yell, just like the
bible says when some of them leave. Of course, there are many who
leave
without a peep.

Another very important thing that occurred was a funeral. A young man,
21
years old died of cancer. He was the son of one of our kitchen
workers. He
died at about 7PM. I was asked if we could do the funeral and said
sure.

Rev. John Muniz, Evangelist Richard Muniz and myself did the funeral.
I
sang two songs and the people have never seen anything like this, EVER.

They (many unsaved) were shocked that we did the service for no pay.

Poor
people in Cuba never have clergy for their funerals because they can't
pay
anything. They asked the Bishop, "How much did you have to pay them to
do
the funeral." When his response was
nothing........they were all
shocked
and said they want to come to his church.
We couldn't believe what an
impact our doing the funeral had on the town. In commenting on the
music,
they said, "No one is willing to perform in Cuba for no pay". Please
pray
for Daisy, the mother as she was truly heart broken.

I am still trying to get a meeting with Fidel, so please continue to
pray.

I believe it will be soon. Also, remember our finances as we are in
need of
a big miracle..........not only for Cuba but for our
personal needs as
well.

Just a few reminders:

A Cuban must work 3 days for a Very small bar of soap.

The average Cuban must work two months to buy a pair of shoes.

There are many things that are running out in Cuba such as pencils,
pens,
toothpaste, tooth brushes, shaving items.
Medicines are almost impossible to find in the villages. We have
access to
some of these medicines but need the finances to get them shipped to
the
country. Please pray for this. The people really need the help!

For now God bless...........this ministry is very
difficult in
Cuba.......probably the most difficult of my
life.......but the Lord
has
given me the Grace to continue. We are waiting for our renewal of our
license and need you ton pray that through. Most licenses are being
denied
these days. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY..........it makes the
difference.

REMEMBER,
please pray for our financial miracle that is needed as well.

Prayer Partners,
Please keep Tony in prayer as he is in Cuba right now. Below are some critical prayer requests.

In His Name,
Cheryl Freeman
Prayer Coordinator for SREA

.....................

We will be driving a great distance starting Friday and the conditions of the places we will be visiting will some of the hardest areas. Pray for our safety, blessing from the Lord, and that we can encourage and bring the Lord's hope to the people. It will be very hard, if not impossible to do any programs where we are going but anything is possible with God.

Pray for our health as a few of us picked up a bacteria on this trip, including me.

We had some difficulties this trip...still missing 6 bags and another 6 are waiting to be picked up by the doctor.

Spiritually, a woman was healed from being paralyzed and started walking and then dancing in the church. Great things are happening and the churches are growing.

From:   "Nick Barbetta"

  Dear Friends,
I am writing with an urgent prayer request. As most of you know, Crossroads Prison Ministries received permission, about a year ago, to implement a program in the prison. The program is called The Lazarus Project.

This program is designed to help men grow spiritually as well as every other area of their life.

It is a discipleship housing area for 100 men who volunteer to be there. The program is actually 15 years in the making. I was praising God for allowing it to finally come to fruition. However, we are now faced with forces that I see as nothing less than demonic.

Someone has gotten the city law department to look at the program and we are now being challanged. As it looks at this time, many men will lose the opportunity to grow in their relationship with The Lord as they desire to. The law department has sent quotes from the ACLU as well as past cases that violate what they refer to as The Establishment Clause. Basically, they are afraid that the city will be seen as endorsing "religion".

Beacuse oft this, they want to take the program down.

On March 12th at 10:00 am, I will be face to face with the law department fighting for this program. Losing this program will be detrimental to many people. The law department is picking the program apart because we use terms like, " program participants should be a good witness" and we will teach "disciplship in finances" They also want me to remove every reference of God.

Friends, I can not do this. I refuse to prostitute my position on The Lord Jesus Christ. I need your help!!! I am asking you for two things.

First, I am asking for your prayers for that meeting on March 12th. I feel like David going against Goliath. I want to carry myself in a way that will bring glory to The Lord. I also want to be bold in speaking the truth in love.

Second, because I know the power of prayer, I am asking you to share this e-mail with any other Christians that you know who would support us in prayer. I believe that we can have people praying, not only across the United States, but in other countries as well.

There is a lot at stake here. Please join me in prayer, especially on March 12th ar 10:00 AM
Thank you for being there!

Subject:    Prayer Requests for Tony

Dear Cheryl,

Tony asked that I forward the following prayer requests to you:

Please pray for the next trip to Cuba; the team is scheduled to leave on March 5th.
During their time in Cuba, they will be conducting another Pastoral Conference and will be visiting eight churches.

Special evangelistic services are scheduled for each evening during their stay.

Please pray for the finances to conduct an Evangelistic/Musical Tour through the country of Cuba.  It has already been approved, but resources are needed for airfare, travel expenses, lodging, and food for an evangelistic/musical team.

SREA has the potential of reaching over 50,000 Cubans (mostly unsaved) with the Gospel of Christ!

Also, please pray for resources for shipping expenses to get medical supplies into the country of Cuba; we have approximately 1/4 million in free medical supplies ready to go, but we need the finances to get them there.  On the March 5th trip, the team will be taking in 1000 lbs. of supplies which are desperately needed by the Church of Cuba.

Lastly, please pray for a MIRACLE, so that the Loeffler family can continue in Full-time Ministry.  They have worked diligently in serving the Lord and in expanding His Kingdom; however, they are struggling to attain the necessary personal support they need to continue on in this capacity.  The outpouring of love for our brothers and sisters in Cuba has been tremendous, but without the workers who plan, coordinate, and carry through so many of the projects that benefit the people of Cuba, it simply wouldn?t happen
Let me end with a word of praise!  Solid Rock?s License to minister within the Country of Cuba was renewed until February, 2006.  SREA was almost declined, but because the team is in the country on a full-time basis, they were able to maintain their licensing.  Another reason why the Loeffler family needs to maintain their full-time missions status!

Thank you so very much for your diligent prayer and we would sincerely appreciate your continued prayer concerning the items mentioned above.

We know that all things are possible through Christ our Lord, and that He will grant the Loeffler family the strength and endurance they need to get through this time of financial unrest.

Matt 6:20 ? But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

From Tony....here is an update on our last trip.

The Metro Church from Saddlebrook, NJ joined us in Cuba on our last trip in March. They totally complimented our work that we have been doing over the past several years. The pastors were blessed with lots of love and special gifts of encouragement.

Pastor Peter Bruno and his staff taught a pastor's conference for two days and many were greatly encouraged. We visited seven churches so that Metro could understand the needs, vision and direction of each church ministry. Now, they will seek the Lord on which church they should partner with and become a "Sister Church". Praise the Lord!

In the evenings we did church programs at various churches and each evening was powerful. The word from Pastor Bruno was excellent and encouraging to each church group. In one of the services a woman who had a stroke and lost movement on the left side of her body was healed by the Lord and many were blessed to witness this miracle.

We visited a day care center which cares for approximately 200 children to deliver some needed medicines and vitamins.

The children sang some special songs for us and our group was touched by their love. We were also able to leave some needed finances to help repair the flooring so that the children could have a play area which is safe. Half the floor had been repaired from prior gifts from other trips. Now the remainder could be repaired. The director shared with tears in her eyes the joy she has found in Christ since our very first visit to the center. She now shares bible stories with the older children. What a blessing.

On one evening we had a fellowship/dinner with the group, MARANATHA--this was special for they would never have been able to host an evening like this in their lifetime. We feed 23 people and had some great music and fellowship.

Anthony Toscano sang at each place we visited, including our home visits and blessed the people and congregations with the "Via Delarosa" song. Anthony as well as all the volunteers from Metro did such an excellent job. They are already thinking about the next trip and we are happy for their commitment to Cuba. What a blessing they all were.

Nayma (one of the Metro staff), myself, Bishop Wilfredo Garcia, David (our driver) and Mario (my interpreter) traveled on to the orient in a 1957, Russian vehicle........(didn't think we would make the trip at times).....but did.

When we reached our first destination, there were about 20 mosquitoes flying around our heads in and out of the home.
I thought that I would be eaten alive by them before daybreak. I was informed that I would have to sleep at the farm because foreigners were not allowed in the hotels in the countryside. To say that we had to rough it, would be an understatement. But praise the Lord, one hour before it was time to sleep a mosquito net was pulled out and put in place for me to sleep. This was a new and first time experience for me. WE WILL INVEST IN A FEW OF THESE FOR THE FUTURE. It was a life saver for me. As far as showers were concerned...cold water and a pail--NOT FOR ME--I DON'T TAKE COLD SHOWERS IN THE USA.......I do remember at one point praying, "Lord, I don't think I can make this, I need your Grace". He gave it to me and I did make it.

The next day we drove another four hours into the countryside. The control is a lot tighter in the countryside--there is an informant on every block. Incredible!

When we reached the church I hugged a pastor that I knew. This was the first time I was able to visit his church. Boy, was his congregation happy. They couldn't believe that I would travel 28 hours round trip to visit their humble church. What I saw was difficult to describe, this was the fourth level of poverty that I experienced in Cuba--the first level would be difficult for any American, let alone the fourth level.

I know that there is yet once more level to go and that would be in the mountains and farther out in the orient, which I hope to visit within the next 6 months.

Make no mistake about it. THIS IS TOUGH COUNTRY AND VERY ROUGH LIVING. I find it amazing to see how well some of these folks do with so little, especially in the church where you will find some joy.

When I returned to Caimito, where there are 47 bacteria in the water and the living conditions are tough. I felt like I was at a five star American Hilton hotel compared to where I had been. Wow, how your perspective can change in such a short period of time--just a few days ago I preferred not to stay in Caimito and now I was looking forward to staying there.

Please pray for Cuba as things are getting tighter and tighter by the day. The churches were blessed to receive the musical and sound equipment and are definitely catching the vision of musical evangelism.

It has taken about 3 years but they now have it and the churches are beginning to explode. Keep those prayers going.

Especially in the area of finances. We need cash to help the church. Everything else is getting difficult to get through.

Thanks for your support and love.

If you would like to come on a mission trip to Cuba contact us about further details. You will be richly blessed to see all that the Lord is doing in Cuba.

Prayer Partners,
Thank you for your prayers for Tony and Mary Ann's work. Please pray especially now as they are facing spiritual pressure.
Blessings,
Cheryl Freeman

Prayer Coordinator for SREA

We are under quite a bit of spiritual pressure for some reason. Please get the team activated. This is a serious attack, the worst I can remember in all my days of ministry. It can only mean one
thing--something is getting ready to break. It has been quite intense for a few weeks but increased over the last week since our return from Cuba. We are still
trusting in His power but it is difficult--make no mistake about it.

Each one of us senses the spiritual pressure. Some of our concerns are financial, that there is something much deeper going on, and it is of no surprise after our last trip. The four years labor with Wilfredo Garcia really started to show results last trip. Since, we have been hearing about the heat. Can't go into detail but keep your eyes on the news, you will hear some things shortly.

God bless and keep us before the
Lord....we need you!

check this out, it came out monday

FOXNews

Click on the URL below for the rest of this story:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,119577,00.html

................

This is an email from Wilfredo and pray for the health of his wife, sister, and niece...apparently they are very bad...one had a surgery on her right eye about six months ago and the niece has severe cancer. They are asking for prayers: the names of these two people are Dalia and Damaris.

They ask us to pray for the Van that is in the mechanic getting the engine repair, and also their stove in the kitchen is broken.

...........................................

Things continue to get difficult in Cuba.

They have just reduced the food allotment to:

NO MORE CHICKEN IN THE DIET!   NO OTHER MEAT AS WELL!

5 pounds of rice
20 ounces of beans
4 ounces of coffee
5 pounds of sugar
6 eggs (if available)

The electricity is now off 5 to 6 hours a day, every day! Big change since last year.

The monthly pay has been reduced to 150 pesos a month which is about $5.00. It use to be $8.50. The people are told to get what ever else they need in the stores with American dollars (most people have no access to American dollars).

The problem is that even if you have the money, it is getting more and more difficult to find things in Cuba.

Last week Mexico and Peru both pulled out their Ambassadors out of Cuba. The US is tightening up as well. Overall, the tension is high and the suffering will increase.

Last trip in we lost a load of medicine for the people. It was a first for us and not an enjoyable experience. The people we help even suggested we don't bring things any more because they feel hopeless that they will get the help. You can just imagine how hopeless they must feel to make such a statement.

We of course will continue to bring in assistance but it will be much less and smaller amounts generally are not a problem. Pray that the Body of Christ will help us in this effort as we too, are struggling at the moment. But, nothing compared to Cuba.

This is from Brother T, an evangelist that Tony met while in India two years ago.

Please pray for this urgent request.

Also, I think Tony is in Cuba now, so please keep him in prayer.

Greetings from Nepal!

I have a very serious prayer request:

Today afternoon I invited summer missions students in our home to have fellowship. We have been singing hymn and choruses all of a sudden house owner came down and started shouting and gave a big word to leave the house.
Kindly pray that the dear Lord Jesus help us to find a good house where we can freely worship Him. With much love and prayer...

Subject:    Here are some reflections on Cuba from Mary Ann for the prayer team

------

Subject: Cuba.doc

Hello,

I?m am a little confused on who I talked to about Cuba so here is a generic letter.
As many of you know Tony was set to go to Cuba on July 24th.  The surprising part was that at the last minute I was also going to Cuba with him.  It was a surprise to me too. I would never choose to go to Cuba in the hot summer to work at camp.
So I have been in Cuba for 10 days with Tony.  It was an impressive trip. I got to see many friends again.  We were helping out at the church?s youth camp. Two other ladies went with us, Denise and Teresa. These young ladies did a fantastic job. Denise was in charge of the camp. She also was our interpreter.

Teresa taught the kids dance. Teresa was my Spanish teacher.  Every day she would give me a phrase or sentence to say in Spanish and I would have to practice on different people.  Here is a sample -  how old are you? I used that on the kids only. Believe it or not sometimes they didn?t know what I was asking?

Smile! Teresa has been praying about becoming a missionary and this trip confirmed that for her.

Tony spoke to the kids and performed with the different musicians that were there.  I took pictures  and more pictures and then some more pictures.  I prayed in between the picture taking. Smile!

The weather was hot, very hot, no air conditioning (except for our rooms when we got to them around midnight).

It was so hot I got use to my clothes being damp from sweat. I think the weather was the toughest  for me to tolerate.

We rode in a van (David was our driver) with only two windows in the front and no air conditioning. We would pick up many people wherever we went. Once we had 14 people stuffed in the van with a drum set.  It was always a wonder to see how much the van could hold.  The van is on it?s last leg.  It broke down one day on the way to camp and we had to walk 2 ½ miles in the hot sun on a dirt road. Almost every time we got in the van something broke down or it wouldn?t start (we pushed the van twice to start it).  God gave us all grace to look at these inconviences  with humor and to get a glimpse of what life is like for Cuban people everyday. Solid Rock was able to buy new tires for the van. Praise God because of the generosity of one of our volunteers!

We had to be careful of what we ate ? food fully cooked, no fruits or veggies, no pork, no water from the homes, only bottled water and that was warm because we couldn?t have ice.

Whenever we could have cold water it was a treat. At camp they always gave us meat, some we ate and some we didn?t.

On one occasion they caught fish in the ocean and then cooked it whole and gave us each one.  The head with the eyes and teeth were still attached. Once you got past the fish starring at you it was scrumptious to eat. The kids never get any meat, there?s not enough.

One unfortunate thing did happen to my poor husband.  He got sick on the last day of camp.  Yes he was vomiting and he felt awful.  This was the night he was to speak to the kids.  Well, praise God he stuck it through and he preached and then he prayed over each person (it took about 2 hours). God gave him the strength and the power. He?s still not feeling like himself yet. He?s taking medication for a parasite just in case.  I just want you to know if I had gotten sick I would have been in a state of panic and lying on my back.  I would not of been able to move let alone stand and preach and pray.

The best part of the trip was talking with the people and the kids.

Some of the kids spoke English and wanted to practice on us. That was fine with me.  We went there to be a blessing to them, and we were and they surely blessed us.

I did get to talk to some of the locals.  I talked to a doctor that makes $20 a month and a young lady that makes $10 a month. We visited churches and friends. One man Frank won the lottery in Cuba.  What that means is that he is able to leave Cuba for good but it?s without his wife and daughter.  He will be coming to Miami the end of this month, working with his brother and sending money home with the hopes that someday he will be able to get his family to America.

The people are oppressed but they make it the best they can.

I was happy to leave ? I get a little anxious when it?s time to leave ? I imagine the plane not being there (there?s only one from the U.S.).

I praise God for the opportunity to go to Cuba and thank you for praying for me (that is if I told you I was going).  I?m very thankful to Solid Rock ministry and those who gave donations for the camp.

Without  Solid Rock and it?s donors there would not of been a camp for these kids.  Next year we hope to add monies to our budget so that the kids can have meat.  I think Tony said it best when he said ?In America camp is a step down, in Cuba it?s a step up.   Love, Mary Ann- Here?s a picture of some of the kids and Teresa(with the backpack).

Update

Prayer Partners,
Here is Tony's latest update from his trip to Cuba! Also, please note at the bottom of the email the sections about table sponsors, a book, and the next trip to Cuba!

God bless,
Cheryl Freeman
Prayer Coordinator for SREA

The trip went very well in Cuba. We ministered to between 3,500 and 4,000 people and saw around 1,500 come forward for prayer--many for salvation, some for physical healing and others for a deeper relationship with the Lord. One of our volunteers spoke to someone in English and they heard him in perfect Spanish. When the person asked the volunteer how he was doing this, he answered, "I don't know. Ask God."

Another highlight was when the government sent some people to see what was going on at the musical evangelistic programs and they were incredibly touched by what the Lord was doing. They even opened up the doors for the future where we can bring these programs to the general public. This was miraculous, especially in view of the fact that they had previously turned down our request.

At the end of these eight concert programs calls continued to pour in at Bishop Wilfredo's home requesting we come to their churches. The bishop had so many requests coming in he didn't know what to do. This was the first time something like this has happened. Pray for all of us to have the wisdom of God and His resources as well to accommodate some of these requests.

Thank you so much for praying for us...the trip was a total blessing.

........................

BOOK

Now, I will be starting to write a book and ask that you all keep me in prayer. I have been praying about this for two years and the time for me is now. So, pleased remember me before the Lord.

..........................

NEXT TRIP

Our next trip to Cuba will be Dec 29th to Jan 5th and then again Jan 22nd to Jan 29th. Please keep these dates in prayer--much planning is necessary.

...............................

TABLE SPONSORS NEEDED

PS: Our first annual banquet for our work in Cuba
will be held in Saddlebrook, New Jersey on April 15th. If you would like to sponsor a table for ten, please
let me know ASAP. We need some sponsors. Thanks for all your help and prayers.

Subject:    Pray er Update

Here is an update from Tony

God bless,
Cheryl Freeman
Prayer Coordinator for SREA

.........................................

Please pray for our planning and scheduling for our Evangelistic Musical Outreach in Cuba, October 16th to the 30th. There are many details to be worked through. Pray for the necessary finances to come in to cover all of our expenses.

We are going to be reaching a lot of people with the Grace of the Gospel.

Pray for finances to fix the van in Cuba which is currently broken--this vehicle is the only means of transportation that we have in Cuba. Most likely, we will not be able to fix it before our arrival which means we will need to rent transportation in Cuba. Renting transportation in Cuba is very expensive.

We will be crossing denominational lines on this tour and need prayer that the Lord will be ultimately glorified through the unity of the Body of Christ.

Pray for our ministry operational budget which has been in the red all year. We really need a financial miracle and are believing God for only that which He can do in the hearts of His people. This ministry has been sent to bring His Love and Healing to Cuba and we know that the Lord will meet our needs as we go.

However, the powers of darkness are not very happy with what is going on and so they wrestle with us daily. This has been a journey that I have been on for over 30 years. This recent attempt by the enemy is the most aggressive in all my years of ministry. PLEASE REMEMBER US IN PRAYER!

It has not been an easy road fighting against the principalities of darkness, BUT greater is He who is in us then all the powers of hell! We will prevail for we move by faith and not by sight! Just keep praying and together we will see all that He will do to glorify His name!

Pray for our friends in Cuba as they too, are being attacked in the spirit as they are handling all the logistics for this up coming Evangelistic Campaign.

Please continue to pray for our transitioning as we are making many changes. The enemy continually presses on all sides and tries to discourage. BUT, the Lord spoke to my heart this past week and caused me to remember all the struggles of the past in ministry and the many who have entered Heaven's gates as a result of His Grace and our perseverance in the faith. Pray that the burden for the lost continues for the next 30 years should I live that long. SMILE
We have often been hard pressed and pushed beyond our capabilities in order that we might rest in Him who raises the dead. We have, and will continue to see His power if we press on and don't loose faith. Can you just imagine the faith struggles that our fathers in the faith must have experienced. I wonder if the ever got discouraged or felt helpless and may have even said, "Where is the Lord?

Why hasn't he delivered as He said HE would? The water is higher than ever; I thought it was going to be different than this when we followed Him. After all, isn't He God! YES! He is and His ways are not like our ways. They are higher (and BETTER) than our ways--we just need to get used to it. We live by FAITH, not by SIGHT.

Why is it today, that so many do not even understand what it means to depend on the Lord and are so quick to utter the nonsense, "Well, if the Lord wanted you to do what you are doing........wouldn't He provide?" Well, the answer of course is YES! But, when did He provide? Before or after the step of faith? That is the one ingredient missing in the household of faith today. So much of what the Lord wants to do in and through us is missed because of the lack of this one ingredient, FAITH. Unfortunately, too many people don't know the difference.

Our faith, activates the Mercy and Grace of God, just as it did when we first entered into His presence. Not one has come into His presence any other way.

Why is it that we are so soon to forget?

Lets partner together and give the powers of darkness a real run for the "Finish Line". One of my earlier songs written says, "Black's gone White, White's gone Black, We're living in a gray world, heading for the Finish Line."   Another line in that song says, "We raped our land, polluted the rivers and blamed it on the guy next door. But, he's not there now, he's gone forever, just go look outside your door. I met a man called, "Man Of Sorrow" who said, He'll straighten out this mess. Just look around, I'm sure you feel it, Like an Eagle stirring up it's nest."

Do you feel it? I sure hope so. Time is of the essence and there are many who need to hear those great words, "God is NOT counting man and woman's sins against them in Christ Jesus." Praise the Lord! What a great message for us to be bringing to Communist Cuba. No wonder why satan and the fallen angels are upset.

Keep praying and if you are able, send some financial assistance for this up coming Evangelistic outreach!

Many blessings and the Lord's mercy be yours in Great measure!

PS: Anyone interested in coming to Cuba on a future
date should contact us. We plan on doing many more of these Evangelistic Campaigns.

P.S. I wrote this e-mail a couple of weeks ago, but wasn't able to send it,
and then the hurricane. By the way, the strong wind destroyed part of my
parents roof, and the rain spoiled all the mattresses, pillows and other
things; but thank God we saved our lives.
We spent 11 days without current
water and 13 days with no electricity; just yesterday, at 4 p.m. we received
the electricity. All this days it seemed we were in a war zone, cause the
hurricane destroyed half of the houses and almost all the trees. We also
lost our Temple. The hurricane destroyed the roof, part of the walls, the
hymnbooks, etc. Now we are gathering on Sundays beneath a roof a brother
improvised. Only God can help us to rebuild the Temple that cost us so much
prayer and sweat. Our prayer is that you don?t have problems, but the lack
of electricity left us misinformed about the damages in Florida.

Short prayer update

Just a short prayer update this time to let you know Tony will be traveling to Hope College to speak there.
He will be traveling today, Wednesday, until Monday. A few days after he returns he travels somewhere else also (Boston?). Pray for traveling mercies.

Also keep Bishop Wilfred Garcia in prayer. He needs hosting while he is in FL--he was finally granted a visa to visit for 30 days, and Tony was disappointed to miss him!

Dear friends,
Tom Franklin asked me to send this letter to you.  Please continue to pray
for the Franklin family.  They are precious, choice servants and friends.

Bruce Garner
THANK YOU
Your tremendous support and fervent prayers - humble us.  From Saturday
January 8th to Thursday January 13th only God knows all the details as to what our
family has experienced but briefly I will say this:  I was seized and
incarcerated not by immigration but by the State Security of Cuba.  10 men at 7:00 A.M
entered our house, confiscated files, books, computers, clothes and much
more, videotaping everything.  Six men were outside the house as back up and three
more waiting in a government car to escort me to jail.  I kissed and said
goodbye to my wife. During my absence I was unable to send or receive any outside
communication and only Jesus was with me through the mental and emotional
torture - He was all I needed.  My wife knew nothing of my condition.  Time and
time again she tried to find me and communicate with me but in every effort was
turned away and given no information.  I lost 16 pounds during this period
and left wearing the same clothes that I had on when I was
incarcerated.  I was accused of being a counter-revolutionary, politically
subversive and for working for the CIA.  I was denied simple things like paper
and pen, reading material, razor, toilet paper, etc.  The interrogation
executed by multiple interrogators lasted up to 13 hours a day.
Regina was called in on Wednesday, January 12th   having been led
to believe that she would receive information about my condition and release
and was interrogated by State Security for 8 hours.  Horrible things were said
and threats were made like - she would be sent to prison and the children
placed in the care of the State.  Her documents were taken and she returned to
the house late that night to do as she had been instructed - to pack and be at
the airport at 5:00 A.M. the next day.   While moving me from the jail to a car
and then to the Airport they constantly worked on me to sign a confession I
would not sign. In a car at the airport I waited believing this would be the
last time I would see my family.  I found out later that during this time they
also threatened and harassed my wife leading her to believe she would not see
me again.  This was all a ploy to get us to sign an admission to a long and
absurd list of crimes.

On the plane I was escorted by security from Cuba to Guatemala and on to
Costa Rica and I was free at 12:00 PM Central Standard time Thursday, January
13th.  My father and mother-in-law John and Karry Barnes, along with my national
Pastor Gerardo Cerdas, under whom I did part of my internship were waiting for
us at the airport with several other close Costa Rican pastors and friends.

Because of severe apprehension I asked to be taken to the national pastor's
house where for seven hours Regina and I unloaded our experiences in front of a
video camera.  Afterwards Bro. Barnes washed us with God's Word; we kneeled,
were prayed over and together we sang the song that I sang over and over in my
cell – MI DIOS ES REAL  (My God Is Real).  Please continue to pray for us but
especially for the four churches with a combined attendance of over 400, all
the workers and especially the national pastors.

For any of you that may ever doubt for whatever reason or in any circumstance
God's faithfulness, remember  – GOD IS SOVERIGN – He is our God, He is your
God, and He will be with you – Always "…even to the end of the world."  He
was there for all of us, He is still with us and He is with our Brother's and
Sisters in Cuba.  But what else could you expect from the One true God who is
in absolute control, who has everything under HIS control?

In Him,

Tom Franklin
II COR 4:4-10

P.S.   Thank God for Noble Hill Baptist Church, our pastor Dr. James Sewell,
Dr. Bob Baird and the Missions Office.

We will be flying back to the states
next week to share the details with our pastor and our Mission's Director.

Prayer Update

Here is a prayer update from Tony.

It has been very difficult working in Cuba for the past 5 years. Now we are entering into our 6th year and we are going to be mainly focusing on Musical Evangelism.

For the past 5 years we have been doing everything but it is almost impossible to minister in Cuba without trying to do something to ease the human suffering.

We of course, will continue to do as He enables us.

On this trip, with the help of our donors, we will be purchasing a home for a pastor and his family. For the most part, they have been sleeping on the floor of the church and in a little back room for the past 4 years. I have watched them very carefully and can't believe the sacrifices they have made over the years to make room for their congregation which is exploding.

The entire family serves the Lord and they do a fantastic job. I am so glad the Lord has responded to this need. I told them when I left Cuba a few weeks ago that I would plead their case to some of our donors and to some people who have meet them over the years and we will see how the Lord moves. Either way, we would praise the Lord for the answer.

Amazing so, we were able to raise the entire amount to purchase the home and in 5 days time. So this must be an answer to the prayers of many who pray for our work and also the prayers of that church.

(They are a praying church!)

Well, because everything is controlled in Cuba, even the church.....we need special prayer for this new shift we are making in our efforts to reach the lost with the life saving message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We need finances to buy a Van, we need to purchase a PA system in Cuba to save on the rentals, we need to find more affordable but safe housing in Cuba when we make our trips. (A friend of mine's mother was murdered for $10 and a VCR two blocks from where we stay in one of the safest hotels in the country.) Now things are getting so difficult in Cuba, everyone is compromising. So pray for my safety!

There have been three ministry leaders that I know who have been arrested within the past few months. Much of this is a result of the changes in the Embargo, July 2004 and it is getting rougher by the minute. I will post the e-mail at the end of this so you can pray for that family.

Pray that the Lord connects me with the right people who have the right motives and share the vision I have for reaching the lost through music in Cuba. This is not easy--everyone is available and says they can do whatever needs to be done because it puts them in the circle of supplies.

So, please pray for me on the trip! VERY, VERY IMPORTANT! I am traveling alone and have so much that I need to get done.
Only those who have worked in Cuba know how difficult it is to do what I am trying to get done. Prayer will make the difference.

SREA has been in the country since 1999 kind of scouting the land and now we have a ministry plan that will bring great healing to the people of Cuba. Much more than the supplies we have been bringing in for so many years.

Pray, Pray, Pray!

Hopefully, I can give you a good report when I return. We need miracles! Both in the Logistics side and
Financial side of this Evangelistic/Musical Campaign.

Here is the info on the arrest:

Subject:    IMPORTANT PRAYER REQUEST!

Hello Cheryl,
Here is an e-mail version of my recent letter to our supporters.  Please circulate this as a prayer item.  We are waiting on the Lord!  Thanks!

From The Desk of Tony Loeffler

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!  Mary Ann, me and two other volunteers, Teresa Van Denend from a small church in Ripley, Ohio and Denise Nelson from another church in Charlotte, NC have just returned from our annual "Youth Outreach" in Cuba.  It was a very special time!  (Read Mary Ann's enclosed letter below and take a brief visit to Cuba through her writing.)

Several young people received the Lord and approximately eighty percent of the youth expressed a serious desire to go deeper with Jesus.  Many even made a covenant of sexual purity before the Lord and signed their name on a "White Paper Heart" which Denise provided.  It was so encouraging to see this commitment being made in a country where prostitution and sexual activity is certainly a problem.

Before I bring you up to date on a very serious matter that we are facing as a ministry, I want to thank all of you for praying for us and giving financially over the years.  Together, we have been able to reach many with the life changing message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

SREA is currently under great financial pressure at the moment, and we need you to pray for us.  We have been commissioned to reach the poor, outcasts, inmates, drug addicts, etc. with the Gospel.  Unfortunately, these people groups are not able to help us with the operating cost of this ministry.  And so, we need more churches, individuals, and Christian businesses to partner with us in our work.  Please ask the Lord if this is an area where you can help at this time.

The Lord will guide you!

Unlike a church, we rely on our donors for monthly support.  Due to our recent transition to Florida and my busy schedule, I have not been able to send our monthly newsletter and therefore, much of our support has slowed up considerably.

Over the past few months, we had to lay off three part-time employees, and one full-time employee, in an attempt to stay afloat. This has been very difficult and we are once again facing a cross road.  Do we continue, or do we stop doing some of the things we are doing? Or, is there something else that the Lord may be directing at this time?  I really can't give you an answer to these questions.  I can only tell you that the people we serve as a ministry are desperate for the Lord, and so many are finding the strength they need through the message we bring.

In general, what I am asking you to do is to seek the Lord as to how and if you should be partnering with this ministry.  We need a substantial increase in our support base in order to continue with what we believe the Lord has put before us. It has taken four years to finalize the plan to reach Cuba for Christ.  It is an exciting plan and includes the entire Body of Christ to be involved.  Please pray for us as we attempt to cross this intersection.

Currently, the load that I am trying to manage is too difficult for me without additional help.  As I seek the Lord, the answers that keep coming are just keep pressing on and trust me.  This is both encouraging and difficult.  I am sure it was the same for Moses, David, Daniel, Elijah, Paul, etc. Trusting the Lord is both encouraging as He moves in certain areas and difficult as many of us are not accustomed to living by faith.

One of the verses that the Lord has been giving us since October 14th, 2002 is Isaiah 42:18&19.  Exactly what the new is yet, I'm not certain.  But it could be the new program "Cuba Para Cristo" (Cuba For Christ) which took four years to develop.  Only time will reveal it.  We plan on launching this new project on January 1, 2005, but it will take nothing short of a miracle.  Please pray as we move by faith!

We are beginning the transition of our corporate mailing address to Florida.  Both the New Jersey and Florida address will be good for another six months but we would like to start the transition now.  If you received a return envelope with the NJ address, go ahead and use it.  Eventually, that will be phased out and you will only receive the Florida contact information. The New address is: SREA, P.O. Box 212938, West Palm Beach, FL  33421.

Please pray for the following:  1) The inmate side of our ministry continues to send out countless packets to inmates, and many have signed up for the Crossroads Bible Institute Program.  Continue to pray for these men and women who are looking to rebuild their lives with the power of God.  2) October 15th - October 30th an evangelistic tour to eight large churches in the Providence of Havana with Tony Loeffler and some of his group members along with Maranatha, a Cuban Evangelistic Team will take place.  Pray for finances necessary for the cost to cover this Evangelistic Campaign. 3)  Pray about our financial crisis, that people will become monthly supporters of the ministry (we need an increase in this area).  4)  Pray for our corporate restructuring in Florida, that the Lord's direction would be clear and that we will be obedient. Our desire is to serve Him faithfully.  5)  Pray for the people in Cuba!  As of June 30th, there have been major changes in the law which is making life even more difficult in Cuba.  6)  Pray for the Lord's leading with some apparent new open doors in the state of Florida regarding prison ministry.  7)  Pray for Cuba Para Cristo to be launched in January, 2005.  This is a multifaceted program intended to reach Cuba for Christ.

May the Lord richly bless you and once again, thank you!  You have blessed me and many other people with your sacrificial giving and prayers.

REFLECTIONS OF CUBA YOUTH CAMP, JULY 2004
From the desk of Mary Ann Loeffler
As many of you know Tony was set to go to Cuba on July 24th.  The surprising part was that at the last minute I was also going to Cuba with him.  It was a surprise to me too. I would never choose to go to Cuba in the hot summer to work at camp.

I have now been in Cuba for 10 days with Tony.  It was an impressive trip. I got to see many friends again.  This year we were helping out at the church's youth camp.

Believe it or not sometimes they didn't know what I was asking?

The van is on the last leg.  It broke down one day on the way to camp and we had to walk 2 1Ž2 miles in the hot sun on a dirt road.

Almost every time we got in the van something broke down or it wouldn't start (we pushed the van twice to start it).
God gave us all grace to look at these inconveniences with humor and to get a glimpse of what life is like for Cuban people everyday.  During the week, Solid Rock was able to buy new tires for the van. Praise God because of the generosity of one of our volunteers!  They were badly needed.

We had to be careful of what we ate – food fully cooked, no fruits or veggies, no pork, no water from the homes, only bottled water and that was warm because we couldn't have ice.

Whenever we could have cold water it was a treat. At camp they always gave us meat, some we ate and some we didn't.  On one occasion they caught fish in the ocean and then cooked it whole and gave us each one.  The head with the eyes and teeth were still attached. Once you got past the fish starring at you it was scrumptious to eat. The kids never get any meat, there's not enough.

He's still not feeling like himself yet. He's taking medication for a parasite just in case.  I just want you to know, if I had gotten sick I would have been in a state of panic and lying on my back.  I would not have been able to move, let alone stand and preach and pray.

One man named Frank, won the lottery in Cuba.  What that means is that he is able to leave Cuba for good but it's without his wife and daughter.  He will be coming to Miami the end of this month, working with his brother and sending money home with the hopes that someday he will be able to get his family to America. The people are oppressed but they make it the best they can.

I was happy to leave – I get a little anxious when it's time to leave – I imagine the plane not being there (there's only one from the U.S.).

I praise God for the opportunity to go to Cuba and thank you for praying for me (that is if I told you I was going). I'm very thankful to Solid Rock ministry and those who gave donations for the camp.  Without the help of Solid Rock and our donors, there would not have been a camp for these kids.  Next year we hope to add monies to our budget so that the kids can have meat.  I think Tony said it best when he said, "In America, life style wise, camp is a step down, but in Cuba, it's a step up."

Love, Mary Ann

Prayer for Cuba

  Dear family in Christ,
Once again we come before you asking for your prayers for our trip into Cuba. We are entering in at a time when some churches and organizations have stopped going in because of the government opposition against them.

Despite the opposition against us, we have chosen to continue to bring God's Word to the precious people of Cuba.

Please keep our team of 9 people in your prayers for our trip from Feb. 25 to March 9th.

Spiritual warfare – Our fight is not against governments, but against the powers of darkness. (Eph. 6) We are going against decade old strongholds.

Customs -  Please keep us in prayer as we bring in Bibles, medicines, and supplies through the Cuban customs. (Sat. 2/26 at approximately 10:00 AM)

Word goes unhindered – Please pray that God's Word goes forth unhindered.

Divine guidance and outpouring of His Spirit. – There is nothing we can do apart from Jesus. Please pray that God pours forth His Spirit upon the trip.

Unity and intent on one purpose – With many different denominations of people going, we ask for prayer for unity and intent on one purpose; to advance God's kingdom and glory only.

Thank you for your love and prayers.

The fruit of this trip not only belongs to those who are going, but to those who support us in prayer and resources. "He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness." (2 Corinthians 9:10)

                                                                                                   With love and prayers,
                                                                                                             Joseph Nigro

March 8th--Some prayer requests, an article, and dinner info

NEXT TRIP TO CUBA!! March 19th—26th
Special Prayer Requests

Pray for our reorganization in Cuba. It is now time to evangelize the country and it is necessary to set up a good structure to accomplish this goal.

Pray for the necessary finances to cover our operating expenses for this Musical Evangelistic Campaign.

Pray for the finances to purchase good reliable transportation in Cuba and also for favor to purchase the needed vehicles. This is not very easy to do in Cuba.

Pray for excellent favor with the government as we attempt to reach outside the church through the use of music. This is a also very difficult to do in Cuba.

Rev. Tony Loeffler
.............................................

This is an article I wrote while in Cuba and is on the front page of our current newsletter. There are many things to pray about here. By the way, our ministry has been under some serious attack since moving to Florida. We need a breakthrough! Prayer WILL make the difference. Thanks!

Greetings from Habana, Cuba Jan. 2005
Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus Christ! It is a name above all names and He is the creator of Heaven and Earth. Along with this great introduction, He is also the Savior of our souls without whom there would be no hope for anyone of us. Thanks be to God who raises the dead.

I am writing this letter from Habana, Cuba. Today I was reflecting on how long we have been working here in this country and how slow it is to get anything done. Make no mistake about it, Cuba is a very difficult country to work in for many reasons. Most of which, I will not discuss in this letter. However, there are some things that can make our work a little bit easier if we could get the help.
For example, lap top computers can be taken into the country fairly easy and would help many of the people we are working with at this time. Many Americans have good working lap top computer that they hardly ever use. In Cuba, they would be put to good use and in some cases allow us opportunity to set up some better communication via e-mail. Communication as you might well imagine is difficult in Cuba.
Also, and probably the most important need we have at this time is a good vehicle for transportation. Eight months of the year, the heat can get unbearable in Cuba. We need a good reliable mini bus, preferably with A/C, for our transportation because we are now in the country 75 to 120 days a year and rentals are very expensive. On the past few trips we have been using cars from the black market and in every case our vehicles have broken down. Cubans are amazing when it comes to getting them running again but these constant problems are slowing down our progress. Good reliable transportation is one of the most important needs we have at this time.
Just the other day I was speaking with one of the pastors we serve and the discussion centered on his work in the prisons and within the community. This pastor and his family serve the Lord well and I have been very impressed with their ministry and commitment to the Lord.

You wouldn't believe the sacrifices they have made over the past five years to have a church.
This pastor visits the prisoners with his eight-year old son and they bring rice and beans and other foods when possible to feed some of the prisoners. In Cuba, if someone doesn't bring you food, there is a possibility you could die in the prison.

He and his young son pray for the inmates and whenever his son prays for a man, the man always weeps. I think the inmates are probably thinking of their children in the villages.
A good vehicle will also allow the pastor the opportunity to transport family members to visit their fathers in prisons.   This pastor is currently using a bike to go to the prisons nearby and can only get to the distant prisons every few months.

With the bike it is impossible to unite family members for visits. So, please pray for this important need to help ease the work here in Cuba. We can accomplish so much more in our work if we had a good means of transportation.
The Lord is using this pastor, his son and some of the members of the church to do a great work in the prisons. He asked me to go with him next time and I probably will give it a try. Up to now, there has not been even an opportunity to get near a prison in Cuba.
This is an area of ministry that is really frowned upon in Cuba, especially when it comes to foreigners. So, as I attempt to visit, I ask that you pray for me for this was one of the reasons I have come to this country in 1999. As many of you know I have been doing prison ministry all my life.
On this trip, SREA with the help of some of our donors were able to purchase a home for the pastor I speak about above. This family has sacrificed so much over the past 5 years that I have known them. I can't even begin to tell you of all that they have done. The house is already full and our driver who did not know the Lord was really touched by the joy this family had with so many people having to live in the same house. There are nine people living in this two bedroom home which seems like a little bit of Heaven to them now as they have been sleeping on the floor of the church for years. I want to thank the many of you who made this possible. This is an investment that will bear good fruit and you will see your reward in Heaven.
Many of you have been so generous in supporting our ministry over the years and we are very thankful. I try each time I write you to convey what the Lord is doing through our partnership but nothing can compare to being either in the prisons or here in Cuba. Along with that statement, I would like to give you an open invitation to come on a mission trip sometime to see all that the Lord is doing in Cuba. It has been slow but it also has been powerful!
Now, we are entering into a new dimension of our work here in Cuba. It is time to move forward in our Musical/Evangelistic work throughout the land. We have done this throughout the world and many have entered into the Lord's presence because of the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music. It has taken five years to get to this point, but now is the time to move forward. As you can see, things move very slowly here in Cuba. With some help with financial resources, better transportation in Cuba, some musical instruments (we are accepting new or good used instruments) and lots of prayer support, we can accomplish so much. Please continue to pray for our work here and I hope you enjoy these periodic updates.
If you are interested in making a trip to Cuba, (we are licensed by the US Government) please contact me by mail, e-mail or phone for details. We make regular visits to Cuba. Remember us in prayer in these three areas: Finances, Transportation and Musical Instruments.

Thank you so much!

   Urgent Prayer Request

Our planning team in Cuba is experiencing some serious spiritual attacks. One of the people we worked with for over five years in Cuba is doing
everything in his power to destroy all that the Lord has done.

He is saying and doing horrible things.

Most if not all of this is being created out of his own pain of not being in control.

This person has made numerous mistakes over the years and the Lord gave us a release from working with this person a few trips ago. Unfortunately, this person is taking it as personal rejection. We do not reject the person, only the style in which he works. It is dishonest, manipulative and co-dependent. We have tried for years to get this person to move from this way of conducting the Lord's work and to no avail.

Now, he is showing the real colors and they are quite ugly. We need Divine intervention as we will be departing shortly for Cuba with 11 people. God is in control and we trust in the one who raises the dead. But, at the same time we are aware of the enemey's schemes. So, pray for us and our team in Cuba. Pray that the truth will prevail and those who live in darkness will also be revealed or humbled to the point of repentance.

Thank you for putting this on the top of your prayer list.

Here's the latest update from Tony!!

Greetings in Jesus Name!

Had a good trip to Cuba.........had a meeting with Bishop Wilfredo and it went very well........Maday and David are still experiencing some pain and reacting from it.........but the Lord will heal that in due time. Meanwhile, we continue to press on in the Lord.

There have been many changes in Cuba announced last week and they are not good for the people. The Cuban Peso has gone down in value and the tax on the dollar up another 8% which brings it to 18% now. This is horrible! Also, the Chinese are now helping Cuba and only the Lord knows how that will play out it the future.

Subject:    April 12th Update

Prayer Partners,
Here is an update from Tony. The first 2 are for Cuba, and the 3rd request is from a friend of his in the Philippines. Please keep all in prayer!!

Thanks,
Cheryl Freeman
Prayer Coordinator for SREA
I have an urgent prayer request for Cuba.

There are many new developments going on in the country. Special prayer is needed as we are sensing a strong opposition in the spirit against what the Lord is doing. We know that greater is He, but there is always the human element. The Apostle Paul said, "The trials and tribulations were so great upon them, that they despaired even of life."

Sometimes the journey gets tough. It has been over 30 years that I have been wrestling against the
principalities of darkness and we have never experienced defeat. I don't expect we will now either. However, our ground team is getting hit pretty hard in Cuba in the spirit. Please have the intercessors break through for us at this time.

Miracles are needed, but praise God, that is His specialty. I will give you an update as soon as the breakthrough occurs.

Have the prayer team pray until a release comes in one way or another.

Thank you!

Rev. Tony Loeffler

Greetings in Jesus Name!

Below you have the prayer requests that were given as we ending our first prison training conference in Cuba. It was a remarkable conference. Many were touched and others were encouraged and inspired by the Lord to press on in this good but difficult work. Prison work is VERY, VERY difficult in Cuba for many reasons. Please remember these prayer request as we wait upon the Lord to open more doors of opportuniy. Thank you so much!

Rev. Tony Loeffler
Pray for:

More open doors for the prison ministry.

Spiritual growth for the three inmates who shared their stories at the conference. One had only been out for 21 days after serving a fifteen year sentence.
The others served 4 years and 11 years.

Needed homes for inmates when they get released.

Unity amongst the prison ministries so that more can be accomplished.

Literature and Bibles for the inmates.

More volunteers to help with the prison outreaches.

The development of strong leadership and good organization.

Additional resources for the work.

For Revival fires to flame throughout the country.

Transition houses/programs to help inmates adjust and be discipled.

Discernment and much wisdom to deal with all the dynamics of prison ministry and after care.

Resources for the music ministers who are trying to penetrate the prisons by using their music.

Mercy for woman's prisoners--a new outreach just beginning.

Inmate families--for forgiveness, strength, love, spiritual protection and mercy.

Spiritual growth for newly converted inmates.

The development of monthly meeting to better organize for the future.

Inmate, Daniel who is the father of a young child living in the town of LA Lisa. the inmate has a three year sentence.

I am leaving for Cuba in two days. I have several important meetings set up and ask for special prayer. I cannot go into the specific details but need special prayer as these are not the normal routine type meetings.

Also, we have a Musical/Evangelistic Campaign scheduled for Cuba starting May 25th and several details need to fall in place rather quickly. One of the issues is the budget. As always, we continue to wrestle against the principalities of darkness and the enemy likes to frustrate us through this area. We need to however, request a financial breakthrough within the next 48 hours so that I can finalize the finishing touches for the tour while I am in the country. The project will cost about $14,000. Please send this out immediately for prayer for nothing happens without it.

Just a note of praise and a reminder of how prayer works:

Remember we were having some difficulty in Cuba. Well, I received a very encouraging e-mail from our ground team there and there were praising God for the release they were experiencing. We know and they do as well, it was those prayers offered to the Lord that made the difference.

Also, our banquet was a tremendous blessing which was a nice answer to prayer as well. We have 13 new 2 year donors, had a nice financial blessing from one time donors, and some much needed musical instruments donated for Cuba. Plus, the encouragement we received from all the love shown us at the banquet reminded us that our labors are not in vain. Sometimes it feels that way because of all the financial pressure. But, those answered prayers
made a huge difference.

Thank the team for me and please remind them to keep these three issues before the throne of God on our behalf:

1) My special meetings coming up in a few days in Cuba.

2) Our financial budget for the upcoming Evangelistic Campaign

3) Constant Encouragement and Wisdom for our ground team in Cuba.
Thank you so much!

WOW--the prayers of our Intercessors is killer on the kingdom of darkness. We are helpless without them...pour it on team!

   Urgent Prayer Request

Prayer material from Tony!

In Him, Cheryl

NOTE: We need an answer from the Lord within the next
few days regarding our Evangelistic Music tour. There were four musicians expected to be on this trip including myself. All doors are opened except the finances which are needed for the trip.

We were expecting the church mentioned below to help and then they decided not to just before I left for Cuba two weeks ago. Since I was out of the country we don't have enough time to do the needed fund raising at this time. We need a miracle! Thanks for those prayers!

I have just returned from Cuba and had a blessed trip. Thank you so much for praying for our ministry
efforts in Cuba. Things continue to get difficult there and the Chinese have really made their presence known . On May 1st, the national celebration of the revolution between 1 and 2 million Cubans gathered at Revolution Square and over 1 million had on bright orange T-shirts that said, "Cuba – China" on them.

There have been some changes in the growth of home churches as well which was the only way the church could grow because Cuba does not build church buildings. They have basically said, "No more start ups for home churches". Also, they have taken away the use of trucks for transportation from the churches and stated that the government looks at churches and Americans the same way.

So, as you might guess, things are getting tough in the ministry of Cuba.

Fortunately, I still have favor in the land. I have received permission to do an 8 concert evangelistic music tour from May 25th to June 3rd. I have one problem however, and that is with the budget for this evangelistic tour. One of the churches that indicated some promise of $6,000 to help with the finances decided not to because it was not a Presbyterian Church project. This of course, is a problem with many denominations. The work of the Lord sometimes gets stuck in this dilemma and we have seen this many times over the past years since we work cross denominationally.

Please pray for us as we need to finalize the music team by this Friday based on our resources. If the Lord can split the Red Sea in an instant.........He can surely take care of this problem. Otherwise, I will travel alone for this tour to fulfill our schedule. It has taken a good amount of planning and scheduling for this evangelistic tour and the Lord has given us the permission from the President of the Council of Churches in Cuba.

Once again, thank you so much for praying for our work and Cuba people.

PS: On this trip I meet with Antonio Castro, one of
Fidel's sons, his lovely wife and Fidel's personal Doctor, Dr. Cambras who is the leading Orthopedic in the world. He and Antonio are Christians, Antonio being the newer. A friend of mine lead Antonio to the Lord and encouraged him to share with his father as he is getting old and is not in very good health these days.

Maybe he has another 2 years left, tops.

We must pray for him and the Body of Christ in Cuba.

Adios! Dios Te Bendiga!

.......................................

Greetings in Jesus Name!

We are leaving for Cuba in about 10 hours. Please pray for our entry through customs. We have a good supply of needed medications.

Also, pray for the schedule as we have been told that national security is extremely tight on the churches at this time and we were told there is reason for concern as things have been getting tighter and tighter for all the churches in Cuba.

Pray that the Lord guide our steps in every direction and that our time be fruitful in the spirit. We have several concerts on the schedule and the last time there was a tremendous harvest of souls. We need to see another outpouring of His Grace as conditions continue to worsen in Cuba.

Pray for our safety, that we will have increased spiritual discernment, the patience of Jesus and the courage of Elijah when necessary.

Thanks so much for praying! Your prayer makes all the difference!

PS: We need this prayer covering till June 5th.

Thanks!

BOOST UP THE PRAYERS!

Just got this emergency email from Tony's interpreter in Cuba. Pray against the opposition!

Hello, Cheryl,

This is Mario, Tony's interpreter in Cuba.

We are facing spiritual oposition in the ministry right now. We still have the poison from Caimito, now infesting the Council of Churches. Yet, we have 6 concerts programmed and we need, URGENTLY, the team praying against the spirits of division, control and any evil spirit that comes against the spread of the Gospel in this country. We start the concerts tomorrow, but the controling spirit is everywhere and so the poison from Caimito. Please, pray, and may God be honored. Thanks, Mario.
